1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 cup thinly sliced onion

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 8 balls, and flatten into patties.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onion in the oil until patties are nicely browned, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the beef patties to a plate, and keep warm.

Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits of beef off of the bottom as you stir. Gradually mix in the beef broth and sherry. Season with seasoned salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the gravy thickens. Turn heat to low, return patties to the gravy, cover, and simmer for another 15 minutes. 6 slices white bread

the other half of your onion, thinly sliced

6 thick slices of gruyere cheese

butter to slather on your bread

grainy mustard to spread on the inside

butter one side of each piece of bread, flip over and lay a patty on it. top with gruyere and onions, slather nice grainy mustard on the non-buttered side of another piece of bread. and grill just like a grilled cheese!

oh my god they are amazing. you will LOVE them! if you can't find gruyere, swap out white cheddar or swiss :)
I always add 1 teaspoon of Emeril's Essence per one pound of hamburger then I add a shake of garlic and pepper. Make large burger patties and grill them. Then add your favorite type of cheese and two slices of bacon to the burger. Add lettuce, red onion, and tomato. Also make sure you get good hamburger buns! Ciabatta rolls are always a good choice or the onion buns.
Teriyaki burgers with Asian seasonings.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

2 slices of bread, crumbled

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 eggs, slightly beaten

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 cup water

1 clove garlic, finely minced

1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Preparation:

Combine ground beef and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; blend well. Shape beef mixture into 6 patties. Broil for 10 to 15 minutes about 5 inches from heat, turning once. Serves 4.
throw a generous shake of garlic, worcestershire sauce and A1 sauce into ground beef. add a raw egg and a slice or two of torn up bread pieces. squish it all together and grill. also indent the raw hamburger patties with a thumb print and they will shrink less. lay out a buffet of toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese and condiments. enjoy but don't forget the potato salad!
I put about 2tbsp of worstershire sauce per pound of meat along with a little garlic, salt, pepper, and bacon (pre-cooked). Mix it all together and make patties out of it. For extra flavor, when the burgers are about five minutes from being done, we add bbq sauce and cheese. So good!
