Any recipes or suggestions for what to do with a ton of leftover hamburger/hotdog rolls from New Years?

I had a party on NYE and hubby overbought the rolls. Now I have all these rolls and there's no way I'll be able to have the family eat them all before they go...can they be frozen? If not, anyone have any slick ideas? Thanks...Any recipes or suggestions for what to do with a ton of leftover hamburger/hotdog rolls from New Years?
yes you can freeze them and when you want to use them just take them out of the freezer and microwave them for about 40 sec.

just let ur imagination run wild.Any recipes or suggestions for what to do with a ton of leftover hamburger/hotdog rolls from New Years?
You can freeze them.

You can dice them up, toss them with olive oil and garlic and roast them in the oven for homemade croutons. (Also freezable)

You can put them in your blender and grind them up for homemade bread crumbs. (Also freezable)

You can cube them and toss them with eggs for a breakfast casserole.

Sausage Breakfast Casserole

1 lb. breakfast sausage, browned and crumbled (chopped ham is good, too)

12 eggs

2 cups milk

2 tsp. salt

1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

2 tsp. dry mustard

6 cups cubed, stale French or Sourdough Bread

Place cooked sausage on the bottom of a greased 9'; x 13'; baking dish. Add bread evenly on top. Beat eggs, milk, and seasonings. Pour over sausage and bread. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight. Before baking, press bread down gently into casserole dish. Bake 350潞 for 50 minutes or until light golden brown and set in center. Serves 8.

My kids like PB%26amp;J on hamburger and hot dog buns sometimes for a change.

I've even done paninis on them and grilled cheese or grilled ham and cheese.

And if you have done all of those and still have some left, tear them into small pieces, put them in ziploc bags, and go find some Canada Geese to feed. :) They will love it, and if you have kids they will love it too.
Grind up %26amp; freeze for bread crumbs.

Or........

HAMBURGER BUN PIZZA

4 whole-wheat or regular hamburger buns

Olive oil for brushing

3/4 cup (175 mL) tomato or pizza sauce

Selection of toppings: chopped chicken or ham, lean cooked sausage meat, sweet peppers, tomatoes, onion, Thinly sliced zucchini, baby spinach leaves, mushrooms, fresh chopped herbs such as basil and oregano.

1 1/2 cups (375 mL) grated Cheddar or mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz./ 120 g)

Cooking Instructions

Split the hamburger buns, slice off the rounded surface of the top buns.

Lightly brush both sides of each halved bun with olive oil. Place on low-flame BBQ and toast until the bottoms are browned at edges.

Transfer the buns to a platter or cookie sheet, toasted side up.

Spread a heaping tablespoon of tomato sauce on each; add other toppings, finishing with the grated cheese.

Put buns back on the BBQ and close the lid. Cook until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes. Check occasionally that buns are not scorching.

If kids want to try making these with minimal supervision, you might want to try the toaster oven. Toast the first side of bun, flip over, add toppings, toast again.

MOCK MACAROONS

Dip leftover bread into sweetened condensed milk %26amp; then coconut. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
You can freeze them and later use them for stuffing or croutons. I make bruschetta for my hubby and kids and when I don't have a italian loaf, we make individual ones on half buns. We also use toasted buns for the croutons in French Onion Soup. You can toast em and season em and make your own bread crumbs, and store em in a air tight container.
totally freeze them and use them for lunches and snacks.

Make garlic bread? Or more stuffing (if your not stuffing'd out already).

Or make break them into pieces and make your own croutons, you can season them yourself , I bet that would be delicious in a salad!
I like spreading butter (real butter, not margarine) on them and sprinkling garlic salt on them. Then slow baking in an oven directly on the grates (200 degrees) until they are crunchy. YUMMY.
Yes, you can freeze them. Consume within a Month like normal bread.
Donate them to your local food pantry or homeless shelter they will really appreciate it.
yes, you can freeze them. how about garlic bread. just butter %26amp; sprinkle w/ garlic powder, toast in oven
