Hamburger recipes?

i have 1 lb of hamburger meat but don't want to make spaggeti, hamburgers or chili. Any recommendations?Hamburger recipes?
This recipe you could cut in half since you only have a pound of hamburger.

Doris Roberts from Everybody loves Raymond Stuffed Meat Loaf

2 pounds ground beef

2 eggs

1 medium onion, chopped

A couple of pinches of parsley

1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs

2 cloves garlic, chopped

Salt and pepper

8 ounces ricotta cheese

A couple of pinches of dried basil

1 (28-ounce) can of whole peeled tomatoes with basil, Italian Bread crumbs

1. Mix first 6 ingredients, salt and pepper to taste, and mold in standard-size loaf pan.

2. Scoop out the center of the loaf.

3. In a separate bowl, mix cheese and basil, salt and pepper to taste, and fill in the hole with this mixture.

4. Replace scooped-out meat to make a hat covering the cheese mixture.

5. Top with tomatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

6. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top and bake another 15 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Note: This meatloaf is very delicious and not your typical meatloaf. I use Winn Dixie brand whole plum tomatoes with basil. When I add the tomatoes , I crushed them. After the meatloaf is done, I drain the grease from the meatloaf and make a tomato gravy using the tomato juices, little cornstarch and water. Very Very good.

You can substitute cream of mushroom for the cream of celery. But the cream of celery compliments the mixed vegetables. If doubling the recipe, you can use one egg in the potatoes.Hamburger recipes?
What you'll need:

one pound of hamburger

hamburger buns

What you do:

crumble hamburger and fry. Drain off all the fat, and then add one package of taco seasoning (follow the directions on how much water to add)

Microwave hamburger bun until warm and soft

open bun, place one large scoop of taco meat onto bottom bun. Top with cheese, lettuce, and onions (if desired) On top of bun add one package Taco Bell taco sauce (if you have it, if not, it's OK without) Put the top of the bun on, and enjoy!

Meat loaf, Tacos, Sloppy Joe's, gorditas, chalupas, pizza (an interesting use of ground beef), lasagna, manicotti, rigatoni with a jalapeno cheese sauce.

Also, my Upside down pizza:

Upside down Pizza

Ground beef, seasonings, pizza sauce, and a mixture of eggs, milk, salt, and flour (2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of flour, and 1 tsp. of salt) and 1/2 onion, chopped. Also get a couple (2-3) bags of your favorite shredded cheeses.

Cook the meat with onions (onions are optional) until browned. Drain the grase and mix with the pizza sauce. Add to bottom of a dish (casserole would be fine) and sprinkle your favorite shredded cheeses (eyeball how much you want to use). Meanwhile, mixing the dough mixture and pouring on top of the beef and cheese (make sure it spreads over all the beef and cheese). Sprinkle some more cheese, not too much, on top to give a nice cheesy ';crust';.

Pop into a 350 degree oven and bake for 30 minutes. Let the dough settle (there will be air bubbles) then cut into blocks and serve on a plate, while sprinkling a little more cheese on the top (parmesan, of course.) Enjoy!

My grandma used to make chop suey with it.....or you can make a cheater beef stroganoff,stew..beef and barley soup...

mix it with a box of KD and a can of fiesta soup (kind of tastes like Tex mex Hamburger Helper)

pretty much anything that calls for beef could be substituted.
Goulash, stroganoff, hamburger helper, hamburger soup, pizza. There are all kinds of options, you just need the other stuff that is called for in the recipe
I love to try new and different dishes as the old stand-bys lose their pizazz. I have included 2 links with many great recipes for use with hamburger. Please visit them.
