Tried and true!

CHILI

1 lb. ground beef

Dash Tabasco

1 can tomato soup

陆 tsp cumin

1 can kidney beans

2 tbsp chilli powder

Dash salt and pepper

Microwave: Cook beef 5 min stir 陆 way. Drain beef. Add everything. cook for 6-8 min until boils.

Can delete beef. Can add vegetables (corn, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, zucchini etc.).

When making large batches use 4 beans and 3 soup.
Beef is so good you can make anything with it...especially tacos.
There are one hundred and one ways to make hamburger!!!!!!

My favorite meat! Try a BBQ sloppy Joe pie. Sometime I use a ready made pie crust (faster) bake it for 10 minutes then

fill it with sauteed ground meat crumbled with sloppy joe sauce (or use BBQ) sauce and chopped onions.Bake 10 min.until golden. Then during the last few minutes arrange some american cheese slices in a pin wheel (they are cut in half) diagonally then make the pinwheel around. bake until melted :)
BBQ hamburgers, sloppy Joes, Meatloaf, tacos, Shepherd's Pie... There's a million!
Hamburger Helper Stroganoff...It's great!
Chilies Casserole

Brown one pound of ground beef with one medium chopped onion

Drain fat

In a food processor, combine the following

1 can of canned chili peppers (seedless if you don't want much heat)

1 8oz container of sour cream

1 can Campbells Cream of Chicken Soup

1 can Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup

Line the bottom of a casserole dish with part of the ground beef (the number of layers here depend on the size of the dish, so eye ball it, just make sure there is a single layer of beef covering the bottom of the pan)

Top the ground beef with one single layer of tortillas. You will probably have to break up the tortillas to make them fit to the shape of your pan.

Top the ground beef with part of the mixture from the food processor.

Keep layering until you have used all ingredients (you don't have to use all of the tortillas, just as many as it takes, I usually only end up using three or four).

Top with either sharp cheddar or mild cheddar cheese, shredded. Cook at 350 until cheese is melted and bubbly.

My husband likes to sprinkle his portion with hot sauce, to kick up the heat.
My husband LOVES my Texas chili. I love making it becasue there are no ingredient measurements in mine. I just add how ever little or much I feel (or we have in the fridge... he-he). I brown the meat with chopped or sliced garlic and chunks of onion; add salt/ pepper to taste. When it's ready I add a can of pinto beans and some Pace salsa. Then, add anything hearty and chopped into bite sized pieces... like green bell peppers, tomatoes, etc. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes and MMMM!!! that's good chilli!!! Oh, and top it off with crumbled Mexican cheese (Queso Fresco) and serve with rolled up corn tortillas. As a Mexican, I never use flour tortillas that much. We only really use them for breakfast; they're made of flour so they're more filling: good for the morning wait til lunch... anyway... enjoy!!!
