Hamburger Patties - Patty for Hamburger





Barbecue Hamburger Patties Recipes








ingredients for 6 servings:


1 1/2 lb Ground Beef


1 ts Salt


1/2 c Chili Sauce


1 tb Lemon Juice


1/3 c Catsup


2 tb Brown Sugar





Preparation: mix the meat, onion, and salt together. Shape the mixture into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick. Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning once. Cover and cook over low heat about 10 minutes. Drain off the excess fat. Mix catsup, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Pour sauce over the patties. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, spooning the sauce onto the patties occasionally. Serve with the sauce spooned over the


patties.





Vegeterian Hamburger Patty





Soak about 1 cup of organic dried soybeans overnight in about 3-4 cups of water. The next day simmer them in a crock-pot for about 3 hrs, or until they are darker and really soft. Drain the liquid and mash them really well (i experiment with various ingredients, chopped onions, garlic, sesame seeds, etc....if the mixture doesn't hold well, add GF flour (such as pancake mix) or cooked brown rice to ';beef-up'; the mixure until it forms patties. (the same mixture of mashed soybeans, when mixed with eggs makes a great souffle





Jamaican Hamburgers





2 tb Butter


1 sm Onion, chopped


1/4 ts Cayenne pepper


1/4 ts Allspice


1/2 lb Lean ground beef


1/2 ts Salt


1/2 ts Black pepper


1/2 ts Curry powder


1/2 ts Dried thyme


1/4 c Bread crumbs


1 Beaten egg





Mix all ingredients together and form into 2 large patties. Grill or


broil 5-7 minutes per side. Source: Alison Meyer (very loosely based

Sloppy Joes





Ingredients








1 pound ground beef


1 small onion, chopped


3/4 cup barbecue sauce, prepared


4 hamburger buns, split


American cheese, slices, optional


green bell pepper, rings, optional





Directions





In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium


heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up


into 3/4 inch crumbles. Pour off drippings. Stir in barbecue sauce,


1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaaspoon pepper; heat through.





Spoon beef mixture on bottoms of buns; top with cheese and bell


pepper if desired. Close sandwiches.





Burgers Santa Fe





1 lb Ground beef or ground turkey


1 c 4 cheese mexican recipe


Blended-grated cheese


Sargento. divided


1/2 c Salsa of choice, divided


1/4 c Crushed tortilla chips


1/4 c Thinly sliced green onions


1 t Ground cumin or chili powder


1/2 t Garlic salt


4 Hamburger buns split or


You can use sourdough bread


4 Tomato slices


Lettuce if desired.





Directions





In medium bowl, combine ground beef, 3/4 cup cheese, 1/4 cup salsa,


tortilla chips (crushed) green onions thinly sliced, cumin and garlic


salt; mix together lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 4 patties. 1/2


inch thick. Grill or broil patties on oiled rack 5 -6 in. away from


heat. 5 minutes on each side or until internal temp reaches 160 F.


Grill or lightly toast hamburger buns in broiler.


Place burgers on buns; top with remaining 1/4 cup salsa; sprinkle with


remaining 1/4 cup cheese serve with lettuce and tomato.








Bar-B-Que Hamburgers





Ingredients





1 1/2 lb. ground beef (extra lean) 3/4 cups Quakers Rolled Oats


3 TBS. Chopped onion or dried minced onion 1 cup milk


Salt %26amp; pepper to taste





Preparation





Mix all the above ingredients and shape into good size hamburger


patties.


Place in roasting pan or sheet cake pan.





Sauce





2 cups Heinz Ketchup


6 TBS. Apple Cider Vinegar


4 TBS. Worcestershire Sauce


4 TBS. Sugar


1 cup water





Mix well and pour over prepared patties. Bake at 325 degrees


uncovered for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve on hamburger buns. (If you


double meat ingredients you should have enough sauce to cover all).


Can also shape meat into small meatballs and serve as an appetizer.





Hamburgers





Ingredients





1 pound ground beef


4 hamburger buns


4 slices tomato


4 leaves lettuce


4 slices red onion





Directions





Light grill. Form 4 patties with ground beef. Cook hamburger patties


until done. Place cooked patties on lower halves of buns. Place


tomato, lettuce and onion on top of patties. Crown the buns with the


top halves. Serve immediately.





Italian Hamburgers





6 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs


1/3 C. chopped onions


1/3 C. chopped green pepper


1 garlic clove, minced


3/4 tsp. dried oregano


1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt


1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 pound ground beef


6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese, divided


1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce


3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning


Hot cooked spaghetti, optional





Combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef and 3 Tbsp. of Parmesan


cheese; mix well. Shape into 6 patties. In a skillet, brown patties


for 2 minutes on each side. Combine the tomato sauce and Italian


seasoning; pour over patties. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15


minutes until meat is no longer pink. Sprinkle with remaining


Parmesan. Serve patties and sauce over spaghetti if desired.


Yield: 6 servings.





Thyme Pepper Burgers





';Burger patties seasoned with nutmeg and cooked in a wonderful thyme and green pepper sauce. Serve with hot cooked rice.';





Yields 4 servings.





Prep Time: 10 Minutes


Cook Time: 20 Minutes


Ready In: 30 Minutes





1 egg, beaten


2 tablespoons milk


3/4 cup soft bread crumbs


3/4 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg


1 pound ground beef


1/2 cup chopped onion


1 cup beef broth


1 tablespoon all-purpose flour


1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce


3/4 teaspoon dried thyme


1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips





In a large bowl, mix together the egg, milk, bread crumbs, salt and nutmeg. Add ground beef, and mix by hand until well blended. Shape into 4 patties. Place a skillet over medium heat. Add patties, and brown for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet.


Add onion to the skillet, and cook until tender but not browned. Drain off excess fat. Whisk together beef broth and flour. Pour into the skillet, and stir in Worcestershire sauce and thyme. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Return patties to the skillet, and add green peppers. Cover, and simmer until burgers are cooked through, about 5 minutes.





Heatwave Hamburgers





Ingredients;





2 1/2 pounds ground beef


4 tablespoons garlic powder


4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce


2 tablespoons ground black pepper


2 tablespoons onion flakes


2 dried ground tabasco peppers





Preparation:





Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.


Make patties, and grill over a hickory wood fire until done.





Hamburger Casserole





1 lb hamburger


2 cups macaroni


1 medium onion


1 chopped small green pepper


cheese


1 can cream of mushroom soup


dash of salt


dash of pepper


dash of garlic powder


1 cup chopped tomatoes








Fry hamburger, onions and green pepper


Cook macaroni


Add cheese


Mix other ingredients together


Top with slices of cheese


Bake at 350掳 until cheese melts








Deluxe Hamburgers





1 1/2 Lb Ground Beef


1/4 C Onion -- finely chopped


1/4 C Evaporated Milk


1 Tsp Salt


1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce


1/4 Tsp Pepper





Add-Ins:------Mix And Match Ingredients


1 Tbsp Horseradish


1 Tbsp Mustard


1 Tbsp Chives -- snipped


Blue Cheese, Crumbled -- To Taste


2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds


1/4 C Ripe Olives -- chopped


1/4 C Dill Pickles -- chopped


1/4 C Pickle Relish


1/4 C Nuts -- chopped





Mix all ingredients including the add-ins you choose. Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick. Broil or grill patties 4-inches from the heat, turning once, to desired doneness, 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish as desired on buns.





Chicken Fried Hamburger





1 lb. ground beef


1/2 c. milk


1/2 c. flour


1/4 c. fat, melted


salt and pepper to taste





Shape ground beef into flat patties; chili. Place milk and flour in 2 flat dishes slightly larger than patties.


Place each hamburger patty in milk; turn over. Dip in flour.


Placepatties in hot skillet with melted fat; season. Cook on each side until crispy, flattening as patties cook.








Hamburger Italiano





1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef


2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce


1 medium onion, chopped


1 8-oz. package elbow macaroni, cooked


1 green pepper, chopped


1 3-oz. can mushroom stems %26amp; pieces


1 tsp salt


1 10-1/2 oz. can tomato soup


1/4 tsp pepper


1 medium tomato, chopped


1/2 tsp purchased mixed Italian seasonings


1/2 cup Parmesan cheese





Oven method: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Begin cooking macaroni as directed on package. While macaroni is cooking, brown ground beef and drain fat. Add chopped onion and green pepper and cook a few minutes until onion is transparent. Remove from heat and stir in salt,


pepper, purchased mixed Italian seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce. By this time, macaroni should be done -- drain macaroni and place in 2-1/2 quart casserole dish. Add beef mixture, mushrooms, tomato soup, and chopped tomato -- stir to combine. Bake covered 40 minutes. Remove cover; sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and


bake 5 minutes longer.





Microwave method: Follow directions above, except microwave assembled dish (covered) at full power for 8 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and microwave uncovered for 1 minute to melt cheese.

my secret is in the bread crumbs that i mix with the egg! add a teaspoon of red hot chili flakes, dry mustard and wow!!!!
Grilling it on my George Foreman and adding thin sliced Velveeta cheese. Then topping it off with lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard, pickles on a grilled bun
The secret is to use ground chuck, it has the fat to make it juicy?
I do not have a specific receipe--however my one tip would be DO NOT push down on the burgers as you cook them--I see people doing this all the time--this totally dries them out and all you are doing is pushing the juices out of the burger----
my mom puts onion soup mix in the meat and then makes them about 5 inches thick and 6 inches in diameter...you eat one of those and your full for a week....
I make my hamburgers by adding A-1 and peppercorn to them. YUM
i like to use the small pets that i can find in other peoples neighborhoods ya know cats and dogs. six week old puppy meat is so tender it just like chewing butter add some salt garlic, two tbs of bleach and mix in some bbq sauce yummy yum yum two puppies on my bun. with ketchup
here is my favorite recipe.





1 lb ground beef


1/2 table spoon garlic powder


1/2 table spoon cayenne


6 oz blue cheese


1/2 table spoon oregano


hamburger bun





Season beef with cayenne, oregano and garlic powder. Form beef into 4 patties. Divide each patty, through the center, into two, and flatten. Place blue cheese on one patty and top with other patty. Pinch the edges to seal. Grill burgers in a cast iron pan or on grill to desired degree of doneness.

A nice change from plain old hamburgers on the grill. Just a little something to spice things up.





1 lb lean ground beef


1 1/2 teaspoons your favorite seasoning salt


3 ounces cream cheese


1 tablespoon prepared mustard


1 tablespoon prepared horseradish





Mix seasoned salt into ground beef.


Separate beef into four parts.


Take one fourth of the beef mixture and split in half.


Flatten each one out into a small hamburger patty.


Mix together cream cheese, mustard and horseradish until smooth.


Add a spoonful to one of the patties.


Place the other patty on top of the mixture and pinch sides together to seal.


Repeat steps 3-5 until you have four stuffed burgers.


Cook on grill.


Extra cream cheese mixture can be served on side with onions, tomatoes, lettuce and any other toppings you may desire.
