What's a good hamburger recipe?

I have a thawed out pound of hamburger, and I want to use it for dinner tonight, but I have absolutely no clue what to do with it.

I would like to make homemade hamburgers, but anything else using hamburger meat would be great, too.

It is snowing really bad here, so I don't want to have to go out to get any crazy ingredients, please keep the recipes fairly normal.

I also have to please a 7 year old, keep that in mind because of course it is very important.

Thanks!What's a good hamburger recipe?

Make your hamburgers, if you like...fry up some onions and mushrooms too

Now....... make some grilled cheese sandwiches, and put the burgers and fried toppings inside!

This is so easy.......and one of my most requested meals at the place that I cook for disabled people. What's a good hamburger recipe?

Grilled ALLSPICE Hamburger

2 lbs. lean ground beef

2 tsp. finely chopped garlic

1/2 tsp. ground allspice

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1/4 tsp. crumbled dried thyme

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

1/2 c. beef stock, fresh or canned

Vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients except oil in a deep bowl. Knead vigorously with both hands until ingredients are well blended. Then pour in the stock and beat with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth and fluffy. Taste for seasoning. Divide the mixture into 18 equal portions and roll each one into a cylinder about 3 1/2 inches long and 1 inch thick, moistening your hands with cold water as you proceed.

Grill or broil on the highest setting about 3 inches from the heat for about 8 minutes, turning them with a spatula or tongs every few minutes until they are crisp and brown on all sides.
Spanish Hamburgers:

Mix Hamburger/w Egg %26amp; crackers/or breadcrumbs

And onion(chopped)-- like you are making a meatloaf

But, make patties out of this mixture %26amp; brown in fry pan

on both sides- then pour a can of tomato sauce over the

patties,cover/w lid, turn down heat %26amp; let simmer for

15-20 minutes; Can be served on a Bun Or just on plate.

I always put Parmesan %26amp; Chili Peppers on the table-in

case someone wants to spice them up.
Finely chop or blend 1 onion, a clove of garlic and some parsley (use dried herbs in place of, or as well as, the parsley...or leave them out) and mix in with the meat, together with a good dash of salt and pepper and a teaspoon of mustard (Dijon if possible). Mix well and form into burgers. Leave the garlic out too if your 7 year old may not like it.
Brown meat, add any spices you wish to add. Add one cup of salsa and one can of tomato soup - homemade sloppy joes.

Or you can brown the meat, add a can of spaghetti sauce, and frozen corn. I then boil noodles of some sort and add those - mix it all together and you have a chili mac meal.

Otherwise, to make my hamburgers more tasty, I add finely chopped onion - no one ever notices it, so I'm assuming your 7 year old won't either.

Good luck!
