DIRECTIONS

Shape the beef into 4 (1/2-inch thick) burgers.

Heat the soup and hot sauce in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat. Heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Keep warm.

Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Grill the burgers for 10 minutes for medium or until desired doneness, turning over halfway through cooking. Serve the burgers on rolls with lettuce, onion and tomato if desired. Top with the soup mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese.

FOOTNOTE

Campbell's Kitchen Tip: Any leftover soup mixture can also be a great dipping sauce for French fries.
1. add a package of Lipton(or generic brand) onion soup mix to the meat before making the patties

2. try using bleu cheese rather than American for cheese burgers.

3.Add A1 or Worcetershire sauce to the meat.

4. saute mushrooms and onions for a great difference in toppings

5. sandwich a thin slice of mozzerella between 2 thin patties and seal tight. Fry as usual and serve with pizza sauce instead of ketchup

6. make a batch of mashed potatoes and some great brown gravy and have hot hamburger sandwiches using toasted thick slices of french bread
Unless you're using frozen patties, you can do any number of things. The easiest being to mix in a packet of Onion soup mix with your meat. Lipton is used a lot for this. I used to mix in bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and a bit of garlic powder. These come out great and juicy.
use salt and pepper

or season all for flava

check out the website below they have all types of different recipes. people will think you are the best cook ever. they have step by step directions and serving size
Love to add Lipton Onion Dry Soup Mix. About 1 pkg. per pound.

Crush up some garlic and add, or use garlic butter to fry the burgers in.
Try any number of spices.

This made me think of this hilarious Eddie Murphy clip...you might enjoy it.
