Cheeseburger macaroni?

As in, you make up some macaroni and cheese in the manner you are used to (regular over a stovetop, or the microwaveable stuff), brown your ground beef, drain the beef first and mix the two together....add parmesan, oregano, garlic, maybe a touch of bacon or freshly sliced tomato...maybe some onion or onion salt.

Yeah, I know, I suck at cooking, I'll stop now....hope this helps. :)
Make a large, family size keish using pre-made pie crust and crumble your cooked hamburger into it to replace ground sausage.
Hamburger patties smothered in onion gravy served with rice or creamed potatoes is a favorite around my house...
When my mom was in a pinch, she just cooked up the hamburger and mixed it with cooked white rice... then prepared a basic gravy to pour on top. Sometimes she added whatever veggies were available: peas and corn, or chopped spinach and fresh tomatoes....

Spaghetti: Hambuger meat, meat sauce, and the spaghetti.
If you put it in tomato sauce, there are thousands of them. Spaghetti, Lasagna, Spanish Rice, etc. There is also Meatloaf, Enchiladas, etc. Look in mexican, texas, italian, spanish, and other cook books from places that use a lot of beef.
I had a meatloaf once that had applesauce in it -- wow -- was that tasty!

If you decide to make hamburgers they'll be delicious if you: buy steak on sale and have them grind it for you AND cook it rare. No flavor if it's overcooked.
Hamburger Gravy

Original recipe yield: 6 servings.

INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds lean ground beef

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 quart milk

salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon onion salt

1 small onion, chopped (optional)

--------------------------------------鈥?br>

DIRECTIONS:

Place hamburger in a large, deep skillet. Crumble and cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Remove from heat and sprinkle flour over cooked hamburger. Stir until evenly coated and all fat is absorbed.

Place skillet over medium heat, add 1/2 of milk and stir until gravy begins to thicken. Add remaining milk until desired consistency has been reached and gravy comes to a boil. Season with salt, pepper and onion salt.

Serve over mashed or boiled potatoes, toast or biscuits. Add fresh chopped onion if desired.
Sloppy Joes! You squish the hamburger up with a tin of pork and beans, a tin of tomatoes (diced or whole) and a package of spaghetti sauce. You can blend it with whatever kitchen implements you choose, but I find the easiest thing is just to put it all in a bowl and use your hands to squish it up. Simmer it all together until the meat is cooked.

Serve it with a side salad, and, if you have them, some toasted buns.

Good luck!

You can make tacos, or a taco dip. For taco dip just put cream cheese in the bottom of a casserole dish, then put in cooked ground beef (you can mix in taco seasoning or peppers) salsa on top and some shredded cheese. Put it in the microwave or oven to melt the cheese...Serve with tortilla chips. It's yummy and people will rave about it!
